David Phelan is the founder of Lucivio Partners, a global executive search and talent advisory firm specializing in the life sciences.
Lucivio Partners helps clients grow sustainably, add value for their teams and investors, and, most importantly, deliver life-changing therapies to patients.
After 15 years in global executive search, David decided to start his own firm. He approached me to help create a brand that would reflect his expertise and unique approach in the life sciences.

Over several months, we worked together to build a brand that showcases David's warm, pragmatic, and reliable style - qualities his clients truly appreciate. The logo is simple yet meaningful, with the two 'i's subtly facing each other to reflect his one-on-one approach. The strong, modern font with a mature touch adds to this feel.
I also designed a monogram with an interconnected L&P to emphasise partnership, alongside a colour palette of deep navy with pops of orange and teals - perfect for the life sciences.
We also collaborated on his Squarespace website, adding video and motion graphics to make it visually engaging and impactful.

“When launching my business, I was recommended to reach out to marbar.starbar as a complete solution to branding and design. Mari Therese exceeded my expectations, helping me to think objectively and constructively about our audience, customers, route to market and overall identity. Not only did Mari Therese deliver on time and on budget, I was also left with a focus and vision for growth. I can’t speak more highly of the results. What I found more remarkable was the process itself, highly collaborative, responsive and quickly to understand the nuances of the industry. I would highly recommend engaging marbar.starbar for any and all branding and design needs. I can assure you, you’ll get more than you even thought was possible.”
