My Design Process
01 Discovery
This is the most important step in all design processes - whether you are creating a brand or a website. It’s where I really get under the hood about your business, its personality, your goals, your target markets, your competition and talk around any initial ideas we may have.
02 Direction
Once I have completed my research, you will presented with a design direction. This will cover example styles, typography, colour, etc. to give you a visual reference of where we can take your project. I will share this presentation with you before we agree on a direction to pursue.
03 Design
Now it’s the fun stuff! With the research and chosen design direction in hand, I begin my design process with complete efficiency ensuring I only explore ideas that align to our North Star. Here, I will generate ideas and select the one that’s most effective.
04 Presentation
With the leading design, I will deliver a presentation detailing typography, colour choice, imagery treatment, plus industry specific mock ups to visualise how this design looks in your world. I will then share this presentation with you to support the feedback process.
05 Feedback
By this point, you will have had a couple of days to sit with the work to gather and consolidate your feedback. This is your opportunity to send over any amends, tweaks or considerations you’d like to see in the next round (if needed) via a dedicated form so nothing is lost in translation.
06 Refine
I address your feedback and depending on the amends, I may organise another presentation to take you through the changes, otherwise I will share over email with an appropriate amount of commentary. By now, we should be very close to sign off if we aren’t already!
07 Handover
Once design refinements are finalised, we'll seamlessly transition to the handoff stage. Here, you'll receive all files, guidelines, and assets organised for easy integration across your digital and marketing materials. You’ll receive guidance and support to make your new visual identity stand out.
